Are the cooler rainy days of Houston going to put a damper on your outdoor cooking this year?

Okay, not really an FAQ per se, but when cooler weather and rain settle in across Houston does the family grill go into storage or get covered up? Outdoor cooking doesn't have to be limited to fair weather with some help from Lone Star.
There are four choices to select from when deciding how you want to tackle outdoor grilling or more advanced culinary feats when the rain hits, and it will.
- Add a simple and affordable patio cover to the back yard. Park the family grill underneath and go to town rain or shine. Install a light fixture and even the sunset won't stop you.
- Add a full outdoor kitchen with a built in grill, side burners, refrigerator, and maybe a rotisserie or smoker. Put all of this under a new custom wood frame patio cover complete with patio lighting and extra electrical outlets.
- Get a free quote for some combination of the two options above. Include the outdoor kitchen appliances you really need and do without others to keep costs reasonable. This is likely where you will begin.
- And last of all, park the old grill under the eave of the home and hold a flashlight in your mouth, or smoke up the garage. But if these were your intentions, you probably wouldn't be reading this.
If you have ever considered adding an outdoor kitchen but assumed you couldn't afford it, do yourself a favor and speak to a Lone Star estimator. We will never pressure into buying anything and we are happy to answer any questions you may have and work with most any budget.
