Metal Construction Metal patio covers, pergolas, screen rooms, and sunrooms built by Lone Star are not your average metal structures. They are constructed of heavy gauge aluminum which looks like painted wood. Sometimes called Alumiwood, they are complete with a wood-textured finish and a variety of colors, it looks surprisingly like painted natural wood.

Metal structures require little to no maintenance, are impervious, to termites, and do not support mold or mildew growth. They are as trouble free as a home addition can be.

Our aluminum metal structure components are coated with a Kynar 500® super-tough baked on finish. No paints compare to the durability and long lasting qualities of the Kynar finish.
